Freaktopia Vibes

Have you ever been gifted something that reminds you of a person or a place or a feeling. We believe that in all goods that are traded there is energy. Freaktopia is meant to be worn with love and shared with love. Our roots come from traveling and creating and we make dye and print with that in mind.

Dope Gear since '77 and a little later

Born and raised in NYC's early 1970's graffiti scene, Mikio and Phil Brown would soon find themselves on a Grateful Dead lot and the world of psychedelic art opened its doors and said come on in. Inspired by their mentor Ed Donohue, Mikio and Phil began creating magical shirts combining their dyes and prints. In 2010 friend, photographer, and fellow wandering soul David Mushegain met up with Mikio and Phil and the idea of Freaktopia was born.

Our Story

Hand Made With Love for Generations

Our collaborations are created with love and care by the Freaktopia Familyin upstate New York and sunny southern California. All of our garments are unique and hand dyed by Phil Brown, hand screened by Mikio and David. The goal of Freaktopia is to keep alive the traditions of psychedelic art and dying and to pass them on to the next generation.

Our shirts are individually printed and dyed, so we ask for your patience; it could take up to 30 DAYS for your package to be shipped.
